Freya/Freyja Wall Hanging (Gray and Pink)

If you are fan of Vikings or a follower of Norse mythology you might like to have this beautiful wall hanging in your home! It would also make a great gift for a loved one!

Freyja, (Old Norse: “Lady”), most renowned of the Norse goddesses, who was the sister and female counterpart of Freyr and was in charge of love, fertility, battle, and death. Her father was Njörd, the sea god. Pigs were sacred to her, and she rode a boar with golden bristles.

How it's made

The process starts by choosing the wood. The wood board is then sanded to a smooth finish. It is then washed with a high quality stain and coated with semi-gloss polyurethane. The image is then engraved with an industry leading laser. Next I meticulously add beautiful detail, by hand, using water based metallic acrylic paint. Everything is then sealed with a final coat of semi-gloss poly.
